New Bedford resident Justina Perry is the founder of an online platform dedicated to highlighting, discovering and promoting Black-owned businesses in the Greater New Bedford area.

Perry says the site buyblacknb.com was created during the spring of 2020, and to date, more than 120 businesses and professionals have been listed.

Among her goals are to close the racial wealth gap, foster job creation and celebrate black culture.

Perry was interviewed this week on Townsquare Sunday, and talked about the buzz her website has created so far. The interview can be heard here:
