WBSM TV: Councillor Brian Gomes on New Bedford’s Opioid Crisis

New Bedford City Councillor-at-Large Brian Gomes stopped by WBSM's Barry Richard Show on Monday to further discuss his motion to have Mayor Jon Mitchell and the City Solicitor look into suing opioid manufacturers, which passed unanimously last Thursday.

Gomes also took exception with Mayor Mitchell's comments during his weekly appearance on WBSM last Wednesday, in which he suggested filing suit against Big Pharma had to be for more than just "a good political headline."

"I can make a headline any time I want," Gomes reasserted during his appearance Monday.
