USA’s Ashton Eaton Takes Decathlon Gold For Back-To-Back Olympic Titles

Eaton, who won the Decathlon four years ago in London, also tied the Olympic record for the event with 8,893 total points in the cumulative event.

Along with the back-to-back Olympic titles, Eaton has now won four straight Olympic/World golds in the Decathlon.
