A Rhode Island woman is dead as the result of a single-vehicle crash in Somerset Tuesday morning.

Massachusetts State Police have identified the victim of the 7 a.m. crash on I-195 as 65-year-old Judith Wright from Pawtucket.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the woman was traveling west on 195 in Somerset when she lost control of her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee and crashed into the median before rolling over in the left lane of the highway near Exit 4.

Police say Wright was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police continue to investigate.
