UMass Dartmouth Freshmen Move In
Hundreds of giant orange bins lined the sidewalks outside the freshman dorms at UMass Dartmouth Sunday.
These bins were filled with belongings of many of the 1500 incoming freshmen moving into their dorm rooms all day.
With so many people moving around, University Spokesman John Hoey says the big focus is cutting down wait-time for families.
Volunteer students and staff along with campus police and state police helped keep the move ins smooth and provided a quick and safe transition to the first year of college life.
The upperclassmen will be moving in on Tuesday while classes will begin Wednesday.
