U.S. Airstrikes In Iraq Begin

The Pentagon is releasing some details on the new air campaign against ISIS militants in Iraq.  Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby tweeted this morning that U.S. military aircraft conducted a strike on a militant position near U.S. personnel in Erbil.  A 500-pound laser-guided bomb was dropped on artillery that was being used against Kurdish forces.
