Two Wounded in North End Shooting

Two men were wounded by gunfire early this morning at Coggeshall Street and Acushnet Avenue. Police Department Lt. John Chaves said both victims were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, but that the investigation is ongoing and no more information could be released at this time. The shooting occurred early this morning at about 3 a.m.
