Tom Brady And The Patriots Beat Peyton Manning And The Broncos, 31-21
It was one of the most anticipated games of the young 2012 NFL season. Tom Brady once again met up with rival quarterback Peyton Manning.For years the talk has always been Brady or Manning. Last season that classic match up had a year off. Now, with a new team, Peyton Manning was back to face New England once again.
It was a good duel before the Patriots running game took off in the second half. Brady rushed for a score, and Stevan Ridley ran for 151 yards and a touchdown. Brady also threw for 223 yards and a touchdown to Wes Welker, who caught for 104 yards.
Peyton Manning threw for 345 yards and three touchdowns, but the Bronco defense had no way to stop Ridely's ground game.
The Patriots will next face the Seattle Seahawks, on Sunday October 14.
