Three Face Charges in Fall River Road Rage Incident
What started as a road rage incident Wednesday night in Fall River ended with one person in the hospital and two people under arrest.
Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. at Plymouth Avenue and Peckham Street.
Police were called to the scene on a report that three men were fighting, and that one of the men had smashed a windshield with a baseball bat.
After an investigation, officers determined that two occupants in one car had cut off another vehicle. Both cars then began changing lanes back and forth. The cars stopped and one of the men exited his vehicle, grabbed a bat and smashed the windshield of the second car.
During the fight, another man grabbed the bat and smashed the windshield of the first car.
Police arrested Dillon St. Pierre and Timothy Couto and charged them with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace and vandalizing property.
Eddy Deleon was taken to St. Anne's hospital for treatment of a stab wound to the bicep. He'll be summonsed into court on the same charges.
Investigators recovered the baseball bat and a small dagger from St. Pierre's car.
