Ten People Arrested During Drug Raid at New Bedford Apartment
NEW BEDFORD - Ten people, many of them repeat offenders, have been rounded up as the result of a raid conducted by New Bedford Police over the weekend.
Police say the late Saturday morning raid at 55 County Street, Apt. 3, stemmed from an investigation into a Fentanyl distribution service being run out of the home.
In the home, police found small amounts of crack cocaine, Fentanyl, digital scales, and packaging materials. Police also seized $1,048 in cash.
Police arrested nine New Bedford residents and an Acushnet man at the scene. The suspects range in age from 28 to 47 years old.
