New Bedford Robbery Arrest

New Bedford Police make an arrest in an unarmed robbery that occured on January 28th.

In the incident a 38-year-old city man was beaten and robbed on Delano Street. The suspect stole his wallet, cash and cellphone.

After a month long investigation, New Bedford Police obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect who was spotted Thursday night in the area of County and Windsor Streets.

38-year-old Steven Morales of South First Street in New Bedford was taken into custody and faced unarmed robbery and assault and battery charges in district court.
