Two teens will face charges after firing an Airsoft gun at a driver in Freetown over the weekend.

According to police, reports came in around 6:30pm Sunday of teenagers pointing a pistol at vehicles along Mason Road. Police soon found the two males, and upon investigation, learned one of the teens pointed an Airsoft pistol at another driver, and fired a plastic pellet at him through an open window.

The 60-year-old Freetown resident was struck on the right arm, and declined treatment for the minor injury.

Police seized the pistol and pellets from the males, who were released to their parents. Both teens will be summonsed into court to face charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
