Swifties are counting down the days until Taylor Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl is released on October 3, 2025.

Exclusive Taylor Swift Target Release Details

Swift has partnered with retailer Target for a special midnight release where fans will be able to purchase the new album on three Target-exclusive CDs.

The exclusive CD set and the standard version will be on shelves at 500 Targets across the country, including some on the SouthCoast.

Taylor Swift on Creating the Album

"It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on The Era Tours," Swift said when announcing her new album on the New Heights podcast with now-fiancé Travis Kelce.

"I would be playing shows, I'd do three shows in a row, I'd have three days off, I'd fly to Sweden, go back to the tour and actually working on this I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating," she said.
