Taunton Motorcyclist Dies After Being Shot on Boston Highway
BOSTON - One of the men shot while riding his motorcycle on I- 93 in Boston Sunday has died.
Massachusetts State Police confirm that Scott Stevens, Jr., 32, of East Taunton, succumbed to his injuries Tuesday at Boston Medical Center. Stevens had been in critical condition after he and his father were shot while riding their motorcycles on I-93 South Sunday afternoon.
The father, a 54-year-old Raynham man, remains hospitalized at Tufts Medical Center with serious injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Police have arrested Lance Holloman, 30, of Dorchester on a separate charge, but believe he is the man responsible for gunning down the father and son.
State Police are also investigating Holloman in connection with a woman found shot to death in her Dorchester home.
Holloman has been ordered held on $150,000 cash bail following his arraignment Monday in Dorchester District Court.
