Humanes, who has a criminal record that includes multiple arrests for shoplifting, was arrested on the afternoon of July 21 in Fall River. The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said his arrest came after Fall River Police discovered he had checked into St. Anne’s Hospital under a false name.

At about 7:50 a.m. that day, Taunton Police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the area of 188 Winthrop Street (Route 44). First responders arrived to find Andrade sitting in the driver’s seat of a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in the home’s driveway, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Andrade was rushed to Morton Hospital in Taunton where he was pronounced deceased at 9:03 a.m.
