The Massachusetts Senate voted Thursday to legalize sports wagering in the state, but lawmakers will have to reconcile the many differences between the Senate's bill and the one that passed the House last summer.

If a 16-year-old kid can bag groceries throughout the pandemic, then surely a bunch of political hacks can haul it back up Beacon Hill and earn their pay.

If House members can't stand up to the power structure, they should at least demand term limits for the leadership.
