Operation Ghost

All defendants have now been convicted in the year-long multi-agency investigation into fentanyl trafficking on the SouthCoast dubbed 'Operation Ghost.'

A New Bedford woman who was one of the top members of a large local fentanyl trafficking organization will serve up to seven years in state prison, after she pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges last week.

The arrests capped a year-long investigation into fentanyl in the New Bedford area.
