Many SouthCoast residents are still without power today after a nor'easter hammered the region Wednesday — and Eversource said that some could stay that way until Saturday.
Eversource line and tree crews, working non-stop alongside hundreds of out-of-state utility workers from as far as Florida, Arizona, and Louisiana, continue working to restore power to hundreds-of-thousands of customers following yesterday’s latest round of severe weather.
A third nor'easter in just two weeks is hitting the Northeast and New England and is expected to bring up to 18 inches of snow in some areas as well as high winds and strong gusts.
Together with hundreds of private tree and line crews, Eversource employees have converged on Southeastern Massachusetts, with the goal of substantially completing the restoration effort by Tuesday evening.
