The New York Times website is down and it's unclear what caused the outage. Spokeswoman Danielle Rhodes Ha says the newspaper is looking into the cause. The company offered no further details.

The "Boston Globe" is going up for sale. The New York Times Company is putting its New England news division that includes the "Globe" on the market, though a deal isn't imminent.
