New Bedford gang member Carmelo Kercado was sentenced to life in prison for the execution-style murders of Stephen Bodden and Fabio Tavares in the city in 2017.
A New Bedford man charged with a double homicide in the city has been ordered held without bail following his arraignment in Fall River Superior Court.
