Over 10,000 Eversource customers on the Southcoast remain powerless after Tuesday's powerful Nor'easter.

As blizzard conditions knocked out power to about a quarter million Massachusetts homes and businesses Tuesday, power crews were kept out of bucket trucks and away from power lines by heavy snow and high winds. One utility says it could be days until power is fully restored.

Most residents on the Southcoast that are still without electricity should see their power restored by tonight, although some exceptions may be possible.

Together with hundreds of private tree and line crews, Eversource employees have converged on Southeastern Massachusetts, with the goal of substantially completing the restoration effort by Tuesday evening.
