The three suspects arrested in connection to the January 22nd murder of Chantel Bruno were arraigned Tuesday. Prosecutors say Bruno was stabbed 49 times in a fit of rage.
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III and New Bedford Police Chief Joseph Cordeiro announced that three individuals were arrested in connection with the January 22 homicide of 34-year-old Chantel Bruno and the non-fatal stabbing of her pet Shih Tzu, Lolita.
Following the murder of a woman in New Bedford, the community is coming together to help the victim's family pay for the medical care of her dog, who was injured in the attack.
