Stranded Dolphins Saved On Nantucket

Nantucket police, with the help of state Environmental Police, pushed a mother and baby dolphin back into the deep waters after they had come partially ashore yesterday.

According to The Cape Cod Times, the two dolphins had come ashore in the harbor near Washington Street.

If anyone sees any more dolphins spotted on shore, the department urges them to call 508-228-1212.
