
SouthCoast Wine for Valentine’s Day
Cheers to a day of love with your sweetheart. While you're picking up the flowers, card and chocolates, don't forget a bottle of vino.

We're fortunate to have some great, local wineries and vineyards on the SouthCoast with a variety of options to choose from.

Local Wineries and Vineyards in Massachusetts
Cape Cod Winery (East Falmouth): Offering some favorite like rosé, blueberry wine, savignon blanc and sparkling wines. Pick up one of their 10 different varieties of their favorites. Cape Cod Winery is also hosting a Wine & Chocolate pairing on Saturday, February 15.
Westport Rivers Vineyards (Westport): Four generations and over 400 acres. Westport Rivers offers tastings, tours, special dinners, live music and events in the summer months and the star of the show, its wine. The Farmer's Fizz, a sparkling prosecco-like wine, is a fan favorite. Westport Rivers also offer reds, whites, rosé and more.
Local Wineries and Vineyards in Rhode Island
Sakonnet Vineyard (Little Compton): Celebrating 50 years, Sakonnet Vineyard plays host to a slew of weddings, showers, bachelorettes and more every year. In addition to its wines, visitors can enjoy charcuterie boards, cheese plates, flatbreads and more from its kitchen. A Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Dinner will be offered February 14 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Greenvale Vineyards (Portsmouth): From its celebrated chardonnay to its cabernet franc and pinot gris, Greenvale Vineyards keeps visitors coming back year after year. The wine is just the beginning. Guests of the vineyard can enjoy tours, tastings, music and more. Upcoming events include its Falling in Love with Wine Dinner on Thursday, February 13 as well as a live musical performance from Reverend Robert Jones, Sr. on Valentine's Day evening.
Newport Vineyards (Middletown): Another popular destination to tie the knot, its location boasts 60 acres of vines, tastings, tours, gift shop and restaurant where you can enjoy a glass of wine, charcuterie or one of its many snacks like crab cakes, bruschetta, soft pretzels, chowder and more. In addition to reds, whites, rosé and sparkling, Newport Vineyards also has some specialties like ciders, vidal ice wine, FRIZ sparkling chardonnay, dry riesling among others. Its Valentine's Tasting Menu will be held in the dining room on Friday, February 14.
