"I want to watch it grow up and be healthy," Skylar said.

Perhaps she'll be able to help foxes if she becomes a veterinarian when she is an adult, or possibly a member of the community's animal control.

Skylar also enjoys the company of more domesticated animals. She is most definitely a cat person.

Beyond animals, Skylar enjoys listening to music and singing along to karaoke.

Skylar will need a family to go above and beyond to show her their love, affection and attention. They also will need to follow through with routine and structure, as Skylar thrives on those.

The ideal situation would be to find a family that would first visit with Skylar on a consistent and regular basis to form a trusting bond with her. Only after this bond is created can Skylar move forward with a healthy relationship with a family.

Skylar has three siblings living in western Massachusetts with whom she will need to maintain in-person or other forms of contact at least monthly.

Who Can Adopt?

If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child.
