Each week on Fun 107, we introduce you to a child on the SouthCoast who is hoping for something simple but life changing, a forever family. This week’s Tuesday’s Child is Carter, an 11-year-old with a kind heart and a bright outlook on life.

Meet Carter

Carter is a thoughtful and caring young boy who enjoys being around others. He is often the first to offer help or comfort when someone needs it, showing a level of empathy that stands out for his age. His dream is to become a social worker one day, a goal that reflects his desire to support and uplift others.

Carter also loves to stay active. You can often find him riding his bike, scooter or skateboard, usually wearing his favorite blue helmet with light up spikes. He enjoys the freedom of being outside and on the move.

A Kind Heart And Positive Spirit

One moment that truly defines Carter happened when he learned his brother was being adopted. Instead of feeling upset, Carter hugged him and said he was proud. It is a powerful example of his selflessness and compassion.

Carter values time with family and understands the importance of connection. He talks about wanting simple moments like being called down for dinner, spending time together and even having dogs around the house.

What Carter Is Looking For In A Family

Carter hopes for a loving family that enjoys spending time together, traveling and making memories. He dreams of going on trips, trying new things and sharing everyday experiences with people who care about him.

In addition to his active side, Carter has a beautiful singing voice and participates in his school choir. Music is another way he expresses himself and connects with others.

Carter has so much to offer. Now, he is just waiting for a family to share it with.

How to Begin the Adoption Process

The process to adopt a child from foster care includes training, interviews and home visits. These steps help determine if adoption is the right fit and help match families with children who need loving homes.
