If you're in the United States Army, or planning on enlisting, you'll need to make sure that your "ink" is in check. Some new rules will restrict where soldiers in the Army can have their tattoos.

The new rules will make it so that the tattoos have to be above the elbow, above the knee and below the neckline. According the MSN, current soldiers will be allowed to keep any tattoos that they already have, if they are not racist, sexiest or extremist.

While the new rules have been proposed, they have not yet been approved. However, high ranking Army officials favor them.
