Shot Fired During Taunton Bank Robbery

Taunton Police are searching for a suspect after a shot was fired during a Christmas Eve bank robbery.

Police say a masked man entered the First Citizens' Federal Credit Union at 280 Winthrop Street with a short barreled rifle.

One round was fired into the wall during the course of the robbery and the suspect, described as 5'4 tall, fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.
