Shirely Temple Black Dies

Former child star Shirley Temple is dead at 85. The actress, who was known throughout her adult life as Shirley Temple Black, died of natural causes yesterday at her home near San Francisco. Temple was well-known for her roles in 1930s films such as "Bright Eyes," "Curly Top," and "Heidi." She also served as the U.S. ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia.
