Sendoff Friday For Samantha Johnson
There's a big sendoff planned Friday for singer Samantha Johnson of New Bedford.
Johnson is heading to New York City to perform on "America's Got Talent." During earlier performances she's earned rave reviews from the judges and studio audiences.
The sendoff for Samantha is planned for 6pm Friday at Pier Three on the waterfront. City officials are inviting residents to bring signs showing their support for the singer.
