See the Amazing Animals Made of Brick Prowling Attleboro’s Capron Park Zoo

If your kids love building with tiny plastic bricks and checking out cool animals, then this parade of animals on display right now at Capron Park Zoo in Attleboro is a must-see.

My daughters love LEGO, so when heard about this summer-long art display at the zoo, I knew we needed to make the trip to check it out. But don't call these guys LEGO animals – they are billed as "Brick Live Animal Paradise" sculptures.

Whatever you want to call them, they were pretty cool to see. Each and every animal must have taken hundreds of hours and thousands of bricks to build. No wonder they have been glued together and are now part of a traveling display.

Thanks to a grant from the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, they will be at Capron Park Zoo through the end of August, seeing them is included in your admission price, which is incredibly reasonable. Adults are just $9, kids are $7.50 and seniors are $6.75 – and little ones under three are totally free.

This zoo is perfect for little ones. It's not too big, has plenty of entertaining and active animals and as a bonus, there's a small splash pad inside the zoo and a huge playground just outside. An entire day of fun in the sun is all in one stop.

I will say it was a bit disappointing that the brick sculptures did not include any signage with information about them. It would have been nice to know how big they were, how many bricks it took to make them and how much time, too. Still, they were really cool to see in person and I would highly recommend making the trip before they leave at the end of August.
