Rochester Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Father

ROCHESTER (WBSM) — A Rochester woman faces charges after allegedly stabbing her father with a steak knife.

According to Rochester Police, officers to a residence Wednesday, October 25 for reports of a domestic disturbance involving an adult female and her father, who live in the same home.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the female allegedly stabbed her father in the shoulder with a kitchen steak knife. Both people were transported to local hospitals.

The victim's status and the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.

The suspect and victim's names have not been released.

The suspect was arrested and held on $100,000 bail prior to being arraigned in Wareham District Court on Thursday.
