
Rochester Man Charged With Homicide in Fatal Shooting
ROCHESTER (WBSM) — Rochester Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the town Friday night.
According to Police Chief Robert Small, officers responded at about 9:34 p.m. on April 7 for a reported shooting at 259 New Bedford Road.
Small said that upon arrival, offices found a 41-year-old male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he was pronounced deceased.

According to Small, the shooting resulted from an argument. He said the alleged shooter, Cody Perry, 34, was still on the scene and was taken into custody and charged with homicide. He is a resident of the home where the fatal shooting occurred.
Small said the incident remains under investigation. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
