Spring vacation week activities kick off with a bang this year at the New Bedford Whaling Museum with Right Whale Day, which will take place on Monday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to South Coast Today.com, “all vacation week programs are free for museum members or with regular museum admission. Each paid admission to the museum is good for two consecutive days of fun. Children must be accompanied by adults.”

Activities of Right Whale Day include, navigating through the Right Whale Obstacle Course, climbing inside a life-sized inflatable right and humpback whales, listening to the story “Dario and the Whale” read by author Cheryl Lawton Malone, and making right whale origami and magnets.

From Tuesday, April 18, through Friday, April 21, the museum will include additional Spring Break programs and activities.
