Governor Charlie Baker has promised to veto the 18 million dollar pay raise that state lawmakers have awarded themselves, but it may not be enough to keep the money grab from occurring since the vote to approve was veto proof in both chambers. Some members, including State Rep. Shaunna O'Connell, R-Taunton say they will refuse the money or will donate it to charity. Meanwhile, Citizens For Limited Taxation is attempting to figure out how to put the pay raise issue before the voters.
