Suzanne Sullivan has made it her mission to save the 14 historic bronze bells that resided for many years at St. Lawrence Martyr Church in New Bedford. She is the owner of the bells, which are now being restored in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her goal is to have the bells displayed in a bell tower at Clasky Common Park, a plan that has already been approved by the New Bedford Park Board. Sullivan is raising money to pay for the restoration and bell tower, and she's hoping the people of Greater New Bedford will help with that effort. Sullivan discusses the bell tower and outlines how all of us can help out.
