The "Washington Post" reports that the recent security breach at the White House was worse than originally feared.

The report says the man who jumped a fence and got inside the executive mansion made it much farther into the building than was reported by the Secret Service. He was eventually arrested.

Over the weekend, the "Post" also reported on a series of security lapses in the Secret Service response to a gunman firing shots at the White House in 2011.

Secret Service Director Julia Pearson will be grilled in a U.S. House hearing tomorrow morning.  (Metro Network Inc.)
