A Fall River jury finds a Fairhaven woman guilty in connection with a fatal hit and run nearly three years ago.The Superior Court jury found Renee Andrews guilty of all counts on Wednesday afternoon, following nearly eight hours of deliberation over two days.

Prosecutors said Andrews struck and killed Katelyn Brienzo on Sconticut Neck Road in November of 2011.

Brienzo's mother, Karen Fostin says this verdict serves as a lesson of accountability...

Andrews was found guilty of motor vehicle homicide, leaving the scene of personal injury and/or death, leaving the scene of personal injury, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

She was released on personal recognizance until the sentencing hearing on June 30th, however she must wear a GPS bracelet and only travel to work and back home. Her license was revoked at an earlier hearing.

Personal impact statements from Brienzo's friends and family will also be given on that date.
