It's long past time for the childishness over the recent election to end and for all Americans to get excited about and participate in some small way in the upcoming inauguration. More than two dozen members of Congress, all Democrats, plan to skip the event because they cannot accept the results of the election. This is not about any one person, but rather about the history and tradition of our great country. For elected officials to refuse to participate in the peaceful transition of power is tantamount to a temper tantrum and is a disgrace to our nation.
