Property Owner Agrees To Clean Tisbury St. Yard

A New Bedford man has signed an agreement, pledging to clean up his North End property over the next week.

The city's Neighborhood Task Force visited 19 Tisbury Street on Wednesday after receiving complaints about debris and unsanitary conditions in the back yard. Neighbors were worried about rodents and other problems there.

New Bedford Health Director Dr. Brenda Weis tells WBSM News, task force members devised a plan for property owner Edward Medeiros to follow....

Because of the health violations, Medeiros will not be allowed to live on the property at this time. Dr. Weis says Medeiros has enlisted help from his family to do what needs to be done.
