President Obama is ordering flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of the nine people killed in the shooting at an Oregon community college.

American flags will be lowered at the White House and all public buildings and military installations across the country through Tuesday.

President Obama is talking about gun control again, following yesterday's mass shooting at a community college in Oregon.  Obama says the American people must decide whether to push Congress harder on passing responsible gun safety laws.

In a White House news conference, the President vowed to continue talking about gun violence.  After the latest deadly mass shooting in Oregon, Obama noted that Congress has not even been able to muster enough votes to pass a law on background checks.  (Metro Networks Inc)
