Last night, I had an out-of-this-world experience when I looked up into the night sky and saw something I couldn’t explain.

My fiancé Ross and I were leaving Barrett’s Ale House Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. when we spotted red orbs in the sky that were suspended high in the atmosphere.

We stared in disbelief, trying to make sense of what we were looking at. I quickly took out my phone and began recording.

As you can see in the video, the orbs seem to be traveling together in a similar pattern. At first, I thought they may be lights shining from the electrical poles that are next to the waterfront, but these orbs were clearly high above the power lines, giving off a steady glow of red light.

“Could it be helicopters?” Ross questioned. But there were no flashing lights that are typically visible at night on a helicopter or airplane, and the two orbs were extremely close together which makes an aircraft even less likely.

It’s not a plane and it’s not attached to power lines, so what is it?

My brain immediately went to “unidentified flying object.”

We discussed my experience on the Michael and Maddie show this morning, and one gentleman suggested that it could be drones. But the light was so bright, I have a hard time believing a drone could give off that much light from that far up in the sky.

On Saturday night, Fun 107's Digital Managing Editor Tim Weisberg caught this video outside of his house at around 9 p.m., oddly as he was leaving to host his paranormal talk show Spooky Southcoast on WBSM. Tim reported seeing a bright red light almost coming at him, which then dimmed as it turned sideways, traveling in a straight line high in the sky for a significant distance – even stopping in mid-air on a couple of occasions. Tim said there were no other accompanying lights that would indicate it was some type of aircraft or drone.

Another woman sent in via the Fun 107 app her own video that she took last Thursday evening after hearing us discuss this phenomenon, and her video gave me chills.

Bright lights and a strange sighting had me scratching my head all night last night. Some have said they could be Chinese lanterns, but on three different occasions?

What do you think it is?
