FREETOWN - Two Plymouth men are arrested after Freetown Police catch them spray-painting graffiti on Profile Rock.

Police say a hiker in the Freetown State Forest saw the two men spray-painting markings on the natural rock formation and immediately called police. Freetown and Environmental Police responded to the scene and witnessed 18-year-old Casey Ortiz and 29-year-old Michael Paton, both of Plymouth, defacing the structure with multi-color spray-paint.

Ortiz and Paton were arrested on the scene and are being arraigned this morning on charges of defacement of property and tagging.

The Bristol County Sheriff's Department had just removed a large amount of graffiti from over the winter earlier this week. They will now be asked to remove Thursday's vandalism.
