Plymouth County Sheriff K9 Locates Fleeing Suspect in Rochester
ROCHESTER — You can run, but you certainly can’t hide from the Plymouth County Sheriff Department’s K-9s.
In a post to Facebook, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department says Deputy Joe Salari and his K-9 partner Nero were dispatched early Sunday morning to assist the Rochester Police Department in locating a fleeing suspect.
It took K-9 Nero just over 30 minutes of searching the area to locate the suspect. The Department says Nero “gave a proximity alert at the edge of a wood line containing dense brush and thorns.”
The suspect was safely taken into custody by Rochester Police.
In the past 30 days the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department says its K-9 Unit has successfully located seven suspects and one missing child.
