So, ol' "Chicken Charlie" Baker, as he is sometimes referred to, stuck his finger in the wind and then did a 180 on sending Massachusetts National Guard troops to assist with border security.

America's most popular RINO governor has decided that it is just too "inhumane" to separate illegal alien children from the illegal alien adults who illegally smuggled them across the border into the U.S. illegally. Baker prefers to make it more difficult to secure the border, therefore increasing the risk that the children of American border security personnel will be separated from their parents forever.

Don't ya just love a guy who roots for the other side? I'll bet Charlie secretly roots for the Yankees when no one is around.

"Governor Baker directed the National Guard not to send any assets or personnel to the Southwest border today because the federal government's current actions are resulting in the inhumane treatment of children," Baker Communications Director Lizzy Guyton said in a statement.

Inhumane treatment of children? Who sent these kids packing for the border anyway? Was it Trump? We are being overrun.

The State House News Service reports that Baker was planning to send a "UH-72 Lakota helicopter and two military analysts to pilot the chopper to the southwestern border by the end of the month in support of President Donald Trump's mission to curb illegal border crossings and drug trafficking."

Like, Massachusetts doesn't have a particular interest in preventing illegal border crossings or curbing the flow of fentanyl, right?

The White House is fighting back against critics of the crackdown at the border, stating "Illegal immigration along our Southwest border surged 230 percent in April compared to last year, according to the Department of Homeland Security. This statistic reveals the lack of an orderly and fair process to manage the escalating flow of illegal immigrants. That flawed system creates both a humanitarian and a national security crisis at our border."

Charlie Baker is just another swamp-grown politician who worries more about the next election and the next rung on the ladder than he does about the safety and security of the American people.

I for one will vote "Anybody But Baker" in November, and I hope that you will join me.
