Massachusetts' RINO Governor Charlie Baker will snub Vice President Mike Pence who will be attending a Republican National Committee fundraiser in Boston this evening. His excuse? "I think I'm actually going to be in the South Coast, down in New Bedford, when he's here."

Pence is scheduled to arrive in Beantown aboard Air Force Two at 4:15 pm this afternoon. Tickets for the fundraiser are going for $15,000 per couple and include a photo with Pence and $35,000 if you wish to take part in a roundtable chat with the Veep. The event is to benefit the Trump Victory Committee. It gets underway at 5:30 pm.

As luck would have it, Governor Baker will be slurping wedding soup at White's of Westport at about that time. Baker will be attending "A Dinner with Gov. Charlie Baker," sponsored by the Bristol County and South Coast Chambers of Commerce from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. By the way Governor, White's is in Westport, not New Bedford. But, you knew that, right?

The scheduling would be tight, but if Baker wanted to meet with Pence prior to the Chamber dinner, it would happen.

Lt. Governor Karen Polito will also be a no-show at the Pence affair. "Wasn't asked to attend and I have other commitments tomorrow, " Polito told reporters on Monday.

Baker hates Trump and admits he didn't vote for him. He has snubbed Trump in the past, most recently in New Hampshire and has gone out of his way to criticize everything that Trump has done. Baker is nothing more than a Republican in liberal Massachusetts which means he is simply a party fluid Democrat. He dresses like a Republican but has not yet had his Democrat removed.

With the White House and Congress in Republican hands, a true Republican governor would be creating opportunity after opportunity to position his state for the future. Not Baker. With re-election just around the corner, the nation's most popular governor prefers to play it safe by catering to the likes of Maura Healy and Elizabeth Warren than to align himself with Trump, who is public enemy number one with Massachusetts moonbats.

How are we any better off now than we were under Deval Patrick? We're not.
