Chief Brian Levesque is pleased to announce that the Dartmouth Police Department will host an open house at its new headquarters this weekend.

The public is welcome to join the Dartmouth Police Department at 1390 Tucker Road in  Dartmouth on Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Members of the Dartmouth Police Department will be on-hand to provide tours of the department's new facility, as well as answer questions from members of the community.

There will also be a variety of police vehicles and equipment on display for children and families to explore up close, and local vendors will be providing donated food and beverages for attendees to enjoy.

"This is a great opportunity for the community to celebrate the opening of the police station with members of the department," Chief Levesque said.

The event will also include some short remarks from local leaders, as well as a ribbon-cutting celebrating the new station.

The Dartmouth Police Department has been such a positive entity. There is no doubt in my mind that this Open House will be a great event for the community and a wonderful chance for the public to interact and meet our amazing officers. Looking forward to getting to know all of you on Sunday, September 22. Please save a doughnut (or two) for me. I prefer the honey-dipped with chocolate glaze, but I won't be too picky. Chocolate frosted is okay as well. Thank you, friends!
