Ocean State Job Lot wants to show first responders that they are appreciated with a First Responder Discount Week.

"When most of us are running away from danger, there are those who run toward it. They don’t know us, yet they are there for us when we need someone the most. At Ocean State Job Lot, we want to say thank you during our first responder and public safety appreciation week."

First responders and public safety professionals can take advantage of a 25 percent discount on almost everything at any store location from Thursday, March 18 through Wednesday, March 24. All you have to do is show your credentials at the register to activate the offer.

Our first responders usually go above and beyond the call of duty, but this past year is definitely something to recognize above all the rest. That's why our station started the Spotlight SouthCoast Frontline Heroes program. We want to highlight the frontline workers who are helping the SouthCoast get through the COVID-19 pandemic every single day. If you would like to shine a light on the essential workers in your life, click HERE to nominate them for the Spotlight SouthCoast Frontline Heroes program. Let everyone know what this past year has been like for them and how proud you are to know them. This program is made possible thanks to our sponsor, Prima Care.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
