Oakland's Yoenis Cespedes is this year's Home Run Derby Champion. The A's outfielder beat Washington's Bryce Harper 9 to 8 in the final.

Red Sox DH David Ortiz will bat sixth for the American League tonight in the 84th All Star Game at Citi Field in NY. Matt Harvey of the Mets will start for the NL, Max Scherzer of Detroit goes for the AL.

Clay Bucholz is set to throw a bullpen session Thursday at Fenway Park. The right-hander is in NY for the All Star game but will not play. He is dealing with stiffness in his neck.

The Celtics introduced their new players yesterday at a press conference. Kris Humphries, Keith Bogans and MarShon Brooks were all on hand while Gerald Wallace was away at his basketball camp.
