Norton Woman Found Guilty Of Child Molestation

A Norton woman has been found guilty of molesting and assaulting a 4-year-old girl she baby-sat in her home.

    The Attleboro Sun Chronicle reports that prosecutors said 33-year-old Crystal Goodis created ``a house of horrors'' that included wearing Halloween-type costumes and playing horror movies to frighten the girl and her 3-year-old brother.

    A jury that convicted Goodis on Thursday of indecent assault and battery and assault and battery on the girl also found her innocent of punching the boy.

    Goodis was sentenced to serve 18 months of a two-and-a-half-year jail sentence. She also was placed on probation for 20 years.  (Associated Press)
